Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Quito and Transfer to Tena
Welcome at Quito airport and transfer to Tena, the gateway to the Amazon rainforest. Overnight in Tena.
Day 2: Jungle Adventure – Tena to Baños
Moderate hike to a jungle waterfall and visit a local indigenous community. Learn about Amazonian culture and ecosystems. Transfer to Baños in the afternoon. Overnight in Baños.
Day 3: Explore Baños
Visit a stunning waterfall. Optional adventure activities such as canopy zip-line, or mountain biking. Evening city tour. Overnight in Baños.
Day 4: Baños to Chimborazo
Morning transfer to Chimborazo province. Short hike on the volcano slopes and downhill biking adventure. Overnight in Riobamba.
Day 5: Riobamba to Quilotoa
Travel to Quilotoa Lagoon. Hike the scenic Quilotoa Loop. Overnight near the lagoon.
Day 6: Quilotoa to El Chaupi
Transfer to traditional hacienda in El Chaupi. Horseback riding near Illinizas mountains with breathtaking views. Lunch and dinner at the hacienda.
Day 7: El Chaupi to Quito – Departure
Return to Quito. Cultural walking tour of the historic center, visiting churches and plazas. Transfer to Quito airport for departure.
