    Itinerary
We meet at the Caveman office and depart by private transport to Misahuallí, a picturesque Amazonian town just 30 minutes from Tena. Known for its riverside beach and curious capuchin monkeys that roam freely among the trees, Misahuallí welcomes us with a unique and charming atmosphere.

    • From there, we head to a nearby lagoon, a perfect spot to observe exotic birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Here begins a guided walk of about one hour through the jungle, where you'll learn about medicinal, edible, and craft-use plants.
    • After the nature walk, we visit a Kichwa community and enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients. We’ll then experience the local culture through dance performances, culinary demonstrations, and handmade crafts — a unique opportunity to connect with this ancestral way of life.
    • On our way back to Tena, we make a final stop at a giant Amazonian tree so massive that it would take at least 30 people holding hands to wrap around it!
    • Return to Tena. End of tour.
