Learn to master whitewater kayaking with our Kayak School in the Amazon. Professional instruction, small groups, and breathtaking scenery await you in this unique 4-day experience.
Our approach is based on personalized instruction tailored to each student. We work with groups of no more than 3 people per instructor to ensure safety and effective learning. The course is designed to cover all the fundamentals you need to start your journey in whitewater kayaking.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Level 1: Introduction to Kayaking
Location: Tena river pools
Content: Gear fitting, kayak entry/exit, paddle strokes, braces, edging, posture, T-rescue, and introduction to the roll.
Meals: Lunch included

Day 2 – Level 2: Transition to Moving Water
Location: Lower Anzu or other Class II rivers around Tena
Content: Signals, river reading, waves, holes, rocks, wood, swimming in rapids, ferries, eddies, and eskimo roll.
Prerequisite: Level 1 or equivalent experience

Day 3 – Level 3: River Run with Basic Currents
Location: Middle Anzu or Middle Misahuallí
Content: Roll, water reading, whitewater tips, entering/exiting eddies, ferry maneuvers.
Prerequisite: Level 2 or equivalent experience

Day 4 – Level 4: Moderate River Descent
Location: Middle Jatunyacu or Upper Anzu
Content: Practice of all skills learned, roll in current, advanced strokes, jet ferries, micro eddies.
